We just finished a deck installation in Allentown. The goal was to give the homeowners a nice spot to hang out outside.
The Challenge
The job involved laying a new deck with a solid structure. We paid extra attention to the framework and how it attached to the house.
The Solution
We set up new framing with structural joists and added a ledger board. Joist tape went on for protection, and we included flashing at the ledger for a secure fit to the house.
