We recently built a deck in Pocono Summit. The homeowner wanted a solid space to enjoy the outdoors.
The Challenge
Building a new deck meant we had to plan well. We focused on making sure it was strong and looked good.
The Solution
We used standard framing techniques for the deck. Joist tape went over the joists, and we put flashing at the ledger board to protect it from the weather.
